Assam Dharitree Portal: How To View Assam Land Records Online - Assam has taken an initiative and launched the online land record portal known to be as Dharitree Portal. In this blog, the various facilities that land owners can avail of on this official website which is the Assam government’s Integrated Land Records Management System. 

ILRMS in Assam stands for the state government’s Integrated Land Records Management System that is a virtual medium. It will be used by the land owners in the north-eastern state and they can easily access all land-related information.

ILRMS is set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the Assam government. And it is more commonly known as the Dharitree portal that facilitates smooth transfer and registration of land and property in Assam. 

This official portal envisions making an attempt that ensures interconnectivity among the revenue circle, sub-registrar, deputy commissioner’s offices and the directorate of land records. It is easier and simpler as the land owners in Assam can also use the Dharitree App on their mobile to get all the details of land records in Assam.

Integrated Land Records Management System (ILRMS: Purpose 

The Integrated Land Records Management System or Dharitree portal is basically an intuitive and also an attempt by the state government of Assam. It will eventually integrate the details pertaining to all kind of land and related issues. Such as transfer and registration of land, updating of land records such as mutation, partition, conversion and reclassification, and land revenue collection.

The Dharitree portal offers numerous services for citizen of Assam like:

• The online medium for issuing NOC for the transfer of immovable property, as required under Section 21A of the Registration Act.

What Details Are Required To Check Assam Bhulekh Online?

Dag Number In Assam

Dag number is a unique identity number that is allocated to the land parcels in Assam. In case, any user would like to access the land records in Assam then they can be searching it through using this dag number. Moreover, this unique land identity number is basically known as khasra in northern states.

Patta Number In Assam

Patta document is formalised when the rights of a land parcel are transferred by the owner to another person for a specific period though a lease. And for that the patta number is a legal identity proving land ownership. 

Who Is A Pattadar In Assam?

Pattadars in Assam are the people or citizen of Assam who owns the land ownership certificates.

Steps To Check Land Records On Dharitree Assam

Step 1: Go to the official land records website of Assam, i.e. https://revenueassam.nic.in/ Dharitree portal.

Step 2: Now, move ahead and select the Dharitree option, after that click on the proceed button.

Step 3: The new page in front of you will require the details such as your district, circle and village or town name.

Step 3: Once you select the asked options then you can proceed further.

Step 4:  Now, search for land records in Assam by entering the dag number, patta number or pattadar name. Select an option as per your choice.

A virtual keyboard can only be used to enter the dag number, the patta number or the pattadar name and the user cannot use computer’s keyboard for this. Also, a captcha will have to be filled before you can hit the ‘search’ option on your screen.

The page on your screen will now show all the pattadar details.

Process To Get Land Records In Assam Offline

To get the land records offline, the user has to connect at the circle office if the name of the village does not appear in the list provided on the Dharitree portal. As the land records have not yet completely digitalised and more than 26,000 village maps in Assam have been updated on the Dharitree portal. 

So, in order to get a physical copy of land records or Bhulekh in Assam, one has to visit the circle office and then submit an application form for the same.

 How Can I Know The Nearest Circle Office In Assam?

Step 1: Visit official website https://landrevenue.assam.gov.in/ and then, under that choose ‘How do I’ head. 

Step 2: Further, click on ‘Know my Circle Office’.  

Step 3: Now, a new page will show up on your respective screen, where you can get the information in an excel file format you are looking for.
